Pea in a Pod baby shower
I recently decorated for a baby shower of one of dear friends. This was my first attempt of decorating for a party and am trying to venture out and perhaps make a little extra money doing showers and parties. Her theme was A pea in a pod. She is having a boy and I thought this was so fitting for her. I used my Cricut and Gypsy to create a banner and the little Pea pods.
Here's a close up..It said Sweet Pea
The pea pod I had to use a few different cartridges to make. I added Googly eyes for fun!
I made the pom poms from a tutorial online. It was my first time making them and it went pretty smoothly. I had a blast doing it and the cake that a friend of mine made brought it all together..I have to give her a shout out because her cake looks and tastes amazing. If you are local to Houston Texas her website is www.excitedaboutcakes.com She is amazing!!

Bundle of Joy
I made a congratulations card for a friend from church who recently had a baby. I have had this file for awhile on my gypsy to cut and finally had an opportunity to use it. I used the B is for Boy cartridge for the cute little whale..I haven't made any cards in a long time so it was nice to get back in the groove.

It's Graduation Time!
Well, I officially feel old! My only little beautiful niece is graduating the 8th grade!! Good Golly, it seems like yesterday she was a little toddler going around asking people for lip gloss. She has done very well in school and I am so proud of her. Unfortunately, I won't be able to go to her graduation since she lives in California :(
So, I'll have to settle for sending her my love through a handmade card. :) I used the Cricut cartridge 3 Birds on Parade. I also used the Cuttlebug to emboss the background using the larger folders that are now available. TFL!
(Sorry about the picture quality I had to use my cell phone in low light)

It's been forever!
It has been forever since I posted on my lonely little blog, and pretty much just as long since I have had a chance to scrapbook anything! I have had alot happen in my life the last couple of months since I last posted. One I switched cell phone companies which the switch left me with a phone I'm not too happy with. I used to update my blog from my phone and so now I can't do that with the phone I have so I am patiently waiting when I can get my Android back. I miss my phone. How absured is that? ha ha.. I also moved into a new home and that has been such a blessing because the home we had was rented from a not so nice landlord. We are still renting but have a much nicer landlord and he even gave us a whole new kitchen! Yee haw! So we were out of commission when that was being done. Then, I started working, which Thank God came when it did. I feel very blessed that I found a job with a company that is not in the business of micro-managing. It started temporary but I just found out this week after just a month being there that I will be going permanent! So exciting for me. I have also been very busy with church activities that I help with so when I've had free time I've been doing that! Whew! It makes me tired listing all those things! I hope all you mommies out there had a wonderful Mother's day! I did my sons spoiled me with breakfast in bed and two new cricut cartridges. So I got
I feel that I will be scrapping soon! Take care!

My oh My!
I have been a very busy girl here! I haven't had the opportunity to post anything in awhile. I used to do quick posts with my cell phone but I got a new one and haven't figured out how to post with my new one yet..On top of that I am moving into a new house. I hate moving! But am so happy my family and I have a new place to be. I also have been busy doing some crafts for church and that is what I will be posting today. I was asked to make valentines to attach to some flowers for the ladies that teach sunday school at church. So this is what I did!
I did all the cuts with my Cricut and embossed with the swiss dots using the Cuttlebug. On the back I stamped Happy Valentine's Day. They were quick and easy to do and I love the way they came out.
Here are the flowers I put them with...
Aren't they soooo pretty!!! Well, this is all I have for today! TFL!!

Tuesday Trigger, I'm so pretty
I am entering this weeks Tuesday Trigger offered by the Moxie Fab World Blog at www.moxiefabworld.com. The picture is so pretty, loving the rose covered pillow in grey.
Here is my take on the picture, the colors were a big draw for me and also the roses. So I made these paper roses, stamped the butterfly and sentiment and glued metallic beads. Hope you like! You still have time to enter if you are so inspired. :) TFL!
